Water
Ponds and graded drainage as property assets
A pond or a lake is drainage, amenity, and liability. Treat the shoreline as grounds work.
Water on a property — pond or lake, public or private — is rarely decorative only. It takes runoff, it photographs, and it fails in public when the bank erodes.
Grading the edge and planting it is grounds work. Dredging a failed basin is a different scale. Know which you are buying.
If the pond or the lake is in the marketing package, it belongs in the outdoor contract, not in a separate emergency when the algae shows up in July.
Email hello@grounds.services if the property is in Cumberland County and you want the work in writing.
Whatever the ground needs, ask.
Email the team. We will tell you if the work fits the season and the book of properties we already keep.
